My journey into family law was deeply personal:
My 3-month-old nephew was placed for adoption in Canada without my brother’s consent.
My family was devastated and had no idea where to turn.
As the only attorney in the family, they looked to me for answers, even though I had never handled a family law case.
Determined to bring him home, I fought through the legal system in both NY and Canada.
After nearly three months, I won the case and reunited him with our family.
